Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (ABN [ABN]) ("ProfileHunt", "we", "us"). They apply when you create an account, use the dashboard or call the API (together, the "service").

If you use the service for a business, you agree to these terms for that business, and you confirm you are allowed to do so.

2. The service

ProfileHunt provides an API and a dashboard that return structured profile data for the profile URLs you submit. We may add, change or remove features over time.

3. Your account and API keys

Give us accurate details when you sign up. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys.

Keep your API keys secret. If you think a key has been exposed, revoke it in the dashboard and tell us.

4. Credits and payment

• Credits are bought in advance in packs, priced in US dollars, and paid through our payment provider.
• One credit is used for each profile returned. Requests that return no profile, fail or time out are not charged.
• Credits do not expire while your account is open.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Credits you already bought are not affected.

5. Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

6. Acceptable use

You must use the service and any data you receive lawfully, including privacy, data protection and anti-spam laws. You are responsible for how you use that data. You must not:

• send spam or unsolicited bulk messages;
• harass, track or discriminate against anyone;
• resell or provide the service to others as a competing product;
• try to overload, break or get around the service's limits or security;
• share your API keys publicly or with people outside your workspace.

7. Limits and fair use

We apply rate limits to keep the service fast and fair for everyone. We may slow down or pause usage that puts the service at risk.

8. Availability and accuracy

We work to keep the service available and the data accurate, but we provide it "as is". We do not promise it will always be available, error-free, complete or up to date.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where the law implies a guarantee that cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, where permitted, to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

10. Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk. Where reasonable, we will tell you first.

You can stop using the service at any time. To close your account, email support@profilehunt.dev.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for important changes we will let you know by email. If you keep using the service after a change, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE], Australia. The courts of [STATE] have jurisdiction over any dispute.
